Church where the Nazarene, or Black Christ of Portobelo, a dark wooden image that draws thousands of pilgrims, is venerated. Visit Panamá lists a Congo Mass on the last Sunday of each month.

Under full restoration (B/.12.2 million; 56% complete in September 2026). The church stays open: the Black Christ was moved to a space in the nave reached through a side entrance, and some areas are closed. MiCultura expects the façade to be ready by 21 October 2026 and the whole church by January 2027.
