    A hamlet in Meanguera where, in December 1981, more than a thousand rural people — most of them women and children — were killed during a military operation. Today it is a memorial site with the monument to the victims, bearing their names, the garden dedicated to the children and the rebuilt church, where the victims are remembered every December, according to the press (September 2025).
