World-famous break off Playa Naranjo in Santa Rosa National Park; surfers usually arrive by boat.

SINAC describes it as an experts-only wave. Land access needs a 4x4 on a very rough 12 km road; the marine sector is reached only by sea and SINAC asks you to confirm it is open. If you are a beginner, surf Tamarindo or Playa Hermosa instead.
