    Free. Informal car watchers ask for between $5 and about ₡5,000 according to 2025–2026 sources. Since 2025 there is also a paid entrance, Choyín Río Termal, with lockers, towels and a restaurant.

    Tip: There are no lifeguards, toilets or lights: go in daylight and leave before dark. Theft is common: leave nothing on the bank or in the car. Rocks are slippery.
